Political Communication & Elections

Since 2006, I have participated in various research projects aimed at understanding how communication—across its different levels and dimensions—structures politics during electoral processes. I have coordinated and participated in research on Mexican elections in 2006, 2012, 2015, 2018, 2021, and 2024. I also conducted an ethnography of the 2016 United States presidential election. I currently lead a collaborative research project on political rallies during Mexico’s 2024 presidential election (see project page).
